Summer research coordinator
Rick Haselton, professor of biomedical engineering, is the coordinator of the engineering school-sponsored summer research program. Students may also apply to the university-wide research program (VUSRP). Enrollment at Vanderbilt University is not an eligibility requirement for this program.
APPLICATIONS FOR 2013 ARE NOW CLOSED
Each student in the program works for 10 weeks under the supervision of a School of Engineering faculty member. Students work side-by-side with faculty, graduate students and other undergraduates on a currently active research project while gaining first-hand experience in laboratory research. Students receive $4000 of support.
