Choose Your Program

Your curriculum plan and your other goals will help you decide if a fall, spring, Maymester, or summer study abroad program is best for you. Check out this page for an overview of VU programs that will allow you to take major courses in English during a fall or spring semester abroad. Search for these programs on the GEO website to learn more. The GEO site includes a convenient cost calculator so that you can compare costs of different programs. You can also see additional VU programs where you can fulfill non-engineering degree requirements.
Choosing a program offered through Vanderbilt means you’ll be working with a program provider and/or host university that has been vetted by VU. You can take advantage of the course evaluations managed through YES. You can use your VU financial aid for VU programs in the fall or spring term. However, if you really want to study through a non-VU program, go here for the steps you’ll need to follow. Note that there are some non-VU summer study abroad programs targeting engineers that we recommend.
