The 1st Annual ECE Day Poster Session

On April 4, the Vanderbilt Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will celebrate its inaugural year with the 1st Annual ECE Day in the Vanderbilt Student Life Center. The 1st Annual ECE Day brings together Vanderbilt scientists and engineers working in Electrical and Computer Engineering for presentations and discussions.  ECE is home for world-class teaching and research, specializing in interdisciplinary research in devices, systems, and signals. Our community designs the technologies behind all modern electronics, including the computational devices, computational materials, signal processing, and machine learning as these systems interact with the physical world. We pride ourselves on immersive education, creative problem solving, close mentorship, and interdisciplinary research. Faculty and student speakers will present progress and future visions in our focus areas are in electronic devices, circuits, and computing hardware, design and analysis of digital devices integrated with physical systems, signal & image processing, communications, computer vision, and control systems, and photonics and optoelectronics. ECE Day brings together Vanderbilt scientists, engineers, and students working in Electrical and Computer Engineering for presentations and discussions.  The broader ECE research program is represented in the poster session.

Date: Monday, April 4, 2022

Deadline: Submit notification of intent March 25
Guidelines: Each participant will be given a 48” wide and 36” tall space on which to mount their poster.  Students are expected to be at their poster during both sessions
Viewing: Posters will be mounted 9:00-10:00 on Monday, April 4, and viewed during the ECE Day program.
Judging: Judging is based on scientific content, visual and oral presentation.
