National Engineers Week
Founded by NSPE in 1951, E-Week (February 20-26, 2022) is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers. E-Week events have a long, storied history in the engineering school. The schedule of events will be displayed below as they are confirmed.

Take Over (Virtually) a MNPS Class

Monday, February 21 - “Twilight”
- 12:30-1:30 pm: Grab Chick-Fil-A and learn about Women in Computing (WiC)’s EMERGE event through an immersive VR experience
- 5:00-6:00 pm: De-stress with Theta Tau with free Chick-Fil-A dinner
Tuesday, February 22 - “New Moon”
- 1:00-2:00 pm: Stream the Olympics with a side of Krispy Kreme donuts, sponsored by Vanderbilt IEEE
- 2:30-3:30 pm: Put your building skills to the test to build rock walls and spaghetti towers with Vanderbilt’s American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)
- 4:30-5:30 pm: Join Engineers without Borders to snack on candy and design the strongest popsicle stick bridge
Wednesday, February 23 - “Eclipse”
- 10:00-11:00 am: Along with VU Satellite, craft “space junk food” and “star globes” while grabbing Tiff’s Treats
- 2:00-3:00 pm: Vandy “Quacks”, join Vandy Hacks for DIY rubber duck decorating
- 4:30-5:30 pm: Enjoy pizza while partaking in a type racing competition, sponsored by Vanderbilt FOSS in FGH 132
Thursday, February 24 - “Breaking Dawn, Part 1”
- 12:30-1:30 pm: Satisfy your sweet tooth with SWE(ets), complete with Tiff’s Treats/Crumble Cookies and Dunkin’ Donuts from Vanderbilt’s Society of Women Engineers

Friday, February 25 - “Breaking Dawn, Part 2”
- 1:00-2:00 pm: Enjoy delicious liquid nitrogen ice cream, prepared by Vanderbilt’s American Society of Chemical Engineers
