Cynthia “CJ” Warner, president and CEO of Renewable Energy Group Inc., will talk about her professional journey and share thoughts about excelling in business on Thursday, Feb. 24, as part of E-Week.
Warner, BE’80, is a member of the School of Engineering Board of Visitors. She earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt and an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology.
Her talk is at 6 p.m. and will be streamed in 134 Featheringill Hall. Registration is required.
The event comes amid the annual week-long recognition of engineers and engineering organized by the Engineering Council. Events sponsored by a dozen engineering student organizations will combine skills challenges, networking, relaxation, and, of course, food.

The week wraps up at 4 pm Friday with induction of eligible seniors into the Order of the Engineer.
Throughout the week, engineering students also will virtually “take over” Metro Nashville Public School classrooms to introduce young learners in grades 3 through 6 to the field.
