Aspiring Vanderbilt entreprenuers – professional students, graduate students, post-docs, faculty and staff – can test their ideas at Entrepreneur Boot Camp April 10, 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Cool Springs Life Sciences Center.
The inaugural boot camp is designed for Vanderbilt participants who will meet legal experts, investors, entrepreneurs and members of the New Venture team in the university’s Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization. CTTC is sponsoring the boot camp in partnership with the Life Sciences Center and Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz law firm.
Topics include business set up and organization, intellectual property protection and ownership, legal and regulatory compliance, sources and methods of funding, and potential risks and conflicts of interest.
