Vanderbilt University School of Engineering landed in a five-way tie for No. 36 in U.S. News & World Report’s annual Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs rankings, which were released Wednesday.
The university overall earned its highest-ever spot — No. 15, tied with Cornell University and Washington University.
The other schools of engineering at No. 36 this year, the 2016 rankings, were Iowa State University, University of Colorado-Boulder, University of Florida and Yale University.
Last year, VUSE ranked at No. 31 in a five-way tie with North Carolina State University-Raleigh, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of California-Davis, and University of Virginia. In the 2014 rankings, it was in an eight-way tie for No. 35.
