Building off the success of its inaugural year at Vanderbilt, the sixth annual Nashville Mini Maker Faire is set for Oct. 6-7 at the Wond’ry in the Innovation Pavilion. Admission and parking are free for this event.
Promoted as “The Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth,” the event is a celebration of the inventive spirit and a free showcase for “makers” across Vanderbilt and Tennessee to share their newest creations and discoveries with the community.
With nearly 100 exhibitors providing family-friendly hands-on activities, this year’s faire includes a series of speaker presentations and performances taking place throughout the two-day event.
Last year, more than 4,000 visitors interested in making everything from wool yarn and origami to robots and supercomputers visited the Wond’ry, making it the largest faire in the event’s five-year history.
The faire is open 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, and 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7. Free parking is available in the 25th Avenue Garage.
