U.S. News published its 2020 rankings today for graduate programs.
Vanderbilt’s School of Engineering ranked 39th. Its specialties are ranked as follows:
- Biomedical, 22nd (tie)
- Chemical, 36th (tie)
- Mechanical 37th (tie)
- Civil, 40th (tie)
- Environmental, 48th (tie)
- Electrical, 50th (tie)
- Materials, 57th (tie)
Materials science rose 7 points; mechanical engineering rose 6 points in this year’s rankings. Civil engineering and environmental engineering retained their spots at numbers 40 and 48.
