Vanderbilt University’s online graduate program in computer science rose five places to No. 31 in the 2023 U.S. News and World Report ranking. It also ranked #18 in online master’s programs in computer science for veterans.
The annual survey assesses online degree programs in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information systems and information technology at a range of public and private U.S. institutions.
Scores are calculated based on several factors, including engagement with students, faculty credentials, peer assessment, student support and student quality.
In June, Vanderbilt ranked No. 1 in Fortune’s 2022 rankings of Best Online Master’s in Computer Science.
