The Vanderbilt University School of Engineering welcomed students back to school on August 23. Preceding the first day of classes, Vanderbilt Bruce and Bridgitt Evans Dean of Engineering, Krishnendu “Krish” Roy, spoke to students at the Vanderbilt Engineering Convocation on August 21. During the event, students and faculty members took a “selfie break” to get pictures of all the new faces. On August 22, Vanderbilt Electrical and Computer Engineering hosted a graduate orientation for their incoming students. They gathered to eat, socialize, and talk through degree requirements.
