The School of Engineering is pleased to announce that the Vanderbilt University Board of Trust has approved the promotion of Jason G. Valentine to professor of mechanical engineering, Jules White to professor of computer science, and Yuankai (Kenny) Tau to associate professor of biomedical engineering, all with tenure, and effective fall semester 2023.
Additional promotions include Andrew Garrabrants and Kevin G. Brown to research professors of civil and environmental engineering. Pranav Karve has been promoted to research associate professor of civil and environmental engineering.
In computer science, Graham S. Hemingway has been promoted to professor of the practice. Vikash K. Singh and Dana Zhang are associate professors of the practice, and Himanshu Neema is a research associate professor.
In mechanical engineering, Thomas Withrow has been promoted to professor of the practice.
