Research Focus
Energy storage and conversion devices, nanomaterials fabrication, atomic layer deposition, solid-state and integrated and multi-functional energy storage materials and systems, scalable and controllable carbon nanomaterials growth, broadly defined applications of carbon nanomaterials (spanning energy, electronics, health, etc.), and the intersection of integrated energy devices and fields such as robotics, aerospace vehicles/systems, building materials and smart buildings, biomaterials and devices, and portable electronics. Also, support for experimental efforts using a wide range of modeling and simulation tools, spanning classical, quantum mechanical, and finite element methods.
