Research Focus

My research interests are in the usage of technology in improving and tracking organizational performance in public and private arenas as well as organizational redesign and cultural readiness. These interests include enhancing an organization’s ability to assess its weaknesses, evaluate its core values and develop a strategic plan that promotes innovation and performance excellence both vertically and horizontally across the system, using system engineering and organizational behavior tools as the foundation. My dissertation research focused on differences in passive and active registries, barriers to using a disease registry, and the effect of numeracy (using numbers) in decision making and health related discussions and it continues to be an area of interest.
