Faculty invited to submit collaborative research proposals in engineering and medicine

Vanderbilt University announces a first call for proposals for interdisciplinary research programs to be based in a new engineering and medicine building.  Competitive programs may be either existing or new ones.

Two town hall meetings on campus will be held for further information and discussions. The first will be June 19 at 4 p.m. in Featheringill Hall in the Jacobs Believed in Me Auditorium, and the second will be on July 26 at 4 p.m. in 1220 Medical Research Building III.

Full-time faculty holding tenured or tenure-track appointments in the schools of engineering or medicine are eligible to apply as the lead organizer for the interdisciplinary research team. Faculty from all schools at Vanderbilt may be co-participants.
