The pitch, known as Demo Day, is the final phase of Memphis Bioworks ZeroTo510 accelerator program. The three other teams selected to participate in this year’s cohort will also pitch, including fellow Vanderbilt startup EndoInSight.

Blood Monitoring Solutions is led by Jim Mullen, president and Vanderbilt mechanical engineering graduate, who worked with Vanderbilt University Medical Center Associate Medical Director of Transfusion Services Dr. Garrett Booth.

The system was originally developed as part of Mullen’s Senior Design project with Vanderbilt University School of Engineering.
