Bodenheimer is Editor-in-Chief of the ACM Transactions on Applied Perception

Bobby Bodenheimer has been named Editor-in-Chief of Transactions on Applied Perception. His term as editor is Aug. 1, 2021, to July 31, 2024.

The journal is a quarterly peer-reviewed scientific publication covering interdisciplinary computer science topics relevant to psychology and perception. All journal papers incorporate both perceptual and computer science components. The journal is published by the by Association for Computing Machinery.

Bobby Bodenheimer

Bodenheimer is a professor of computer science and a professor of electrical engineering and computer engineering. He is director of the scientific computer minor program in the Department of Computer Science. Bodenheimer also holds a secondary appointment in Peabody College’s Department of Psychology and Human Development.

Bodenheimer’s research focus includes virtual environments, augmented reality, applied perception, computer animation and computer graphics.
